Philemon

Philemon and his father, a Hindu priest, came to faith due to the influence of an uncle, who came to know Jesus as a hospital patient. As a young boy, he felt called to preach. He worked with a missionary for some time and then was called to start his own work in the early 1990s. Shortly after, he was called to lead another large mission started by a well-known pioneer missionary, and the two works merged. The work began in very remote and difficult to reach areas with no roads and now includes over 160 congregations and their pastors. The ministry has also included a training school for preparing leaders. God has also given him a Radio and TV ministry which has allowed him to have a national influence for over a decade.
